The gift of Art.

One of my third graders created this piece of art for me as a gift to say thank you for teaching him the ways of art. Art is the best gift....so kind. 

Rainbows of course.

With all this rain here in Wisconsin I figured I would throw in a rainy day project.  Kindergarten and first grade did an oil resist painting.  I taught them about the horizon line and how one simple line can separate the sky from the ground....in this case the puddles.
