Fifth grade learned about what a collograph was and used cardboard to create a printing plate of a robot. They then learned about the basic printing rules for printing what we call a series.

I found a bunch of paper in the hallway that was going to get thrown out so I saved it and handed it out to my first graders to create a one day collage. We discussed overlapping shapes and texture.

Actually Westside is awesome! Fifth Grade did their own version of Monet's Japanese Bridge. We discussed Impressionism and focal point. Several of these can be seen at Beans N' Cream on Main Street. Well done fifth Grade.
