Today’s WOW art.

I am going to start posting random pieces of artwork throughout the rest of the school year that I think are WOW to me.  These works of art by multiple age levels are created and stand out to me for various reasons....they speak to me:)  I will snap the pic in real time and post it.  Students love this idea. 

Kinder-space.

Kindergarten learned about the use of space and outer space at the same time.  I also threw in a little lesson about what it means to use balance.  I love construction paper crayons!  So fun.....so little clean up:)

Cards.

Fifth graders brought it on this one!  The only requirement I had was that there had to be a cardinal in the painting somewhere.  The students came up with their own composition.  I am lucky because I get to stare at these paintings all day....at least until I have to hand them back:)
