This past week I thought my student’s about an artist named Alma Thomas. I teach about her every year because I can relate to her. She comes from 4 sisters, I have four daughters, she taught art (and Kindergarten) for 35 years and then became a full time artist, I teach art as my profession as well and plan to become a full time artist once I retire as well...that will be a ways away though! Thanks for the inspiration Alma!
