For my 3-5 learners I did a lesson this week that teaches them about the “Day of the Dead”. “Dia de los Muertos” is celebrated mostly down in Mexico. I like to teach the Westside students about different cultures and tie them to the art world. For this activity we attempted an origami project involving the calavera (skull).
