Pigcasso.

First graders explored imagination and Pablo Picasso at the same time. The students put together these simple collages.  The only rule I gave them is that I did not want the pig to look the way it was suppose to.  They succeeded:)

What does the fox say?

Second grade painted these fine foxes.  We explored how basic shapes can draw pictures easily.  All were successful with drawing this animal.  We also learned contrast in colors, how to use warm and cool colors together to create an interesting work of art.  I love looking at these all day:)
